Intensivskurse Over, Week Off, Semester Starts...

This weekend is the beginning of the main break this semester for IES students, we are off until Monday, October 4th. Today marks two weeks in Berlin. It’s hard to believe it’s been that short with everything I’ve done. Today was the beginning of week two of my Intense German course. I placed into the highest of the three groups, which shows that my 11 years of studying German has paid off. The Intensive Course has also been really great. I’ve understood just about everything...

Sorry for not posting again on Wednesday, I got caught up in what has been a busy first week. I haven’t had many problems using the public transit to get to and from IES, though one day I got on the wrong tram (Strassenbahn) and had to quick figure out how to get back to Alexanderplatz. This week at IES has been full of orientation sessions (with more to come in the next two weeks)...
